 BSAG Arts Enrichment Program

In keeping with our mission, “Creating opportunities for artists and art lovers of all ages”, Brooklyn Streetcar Artists’ Group (BSAG) with the NYC Department of Probation, is expanding our educational initiative in an attempt to promote interest in the arts and nurture the creative spirit of our youth. Toward that end BSAG is initiating our Arts Enrichment Program, offering free art classes to interested students referred by the Department.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the following for their support:

Claudia Hinkson of the Department of Probation for her invaluable help and support in getting this program underway.

William E. Grady High School Assistant Principal Susan Caprio for supplying classroom space and for her unwavering support for this program.

Zelda Weiss of Zelda’s Art World, 2291 Nostrand Avenue, for her generous donation of supplies. When seeking supplies for creative projects, Zelda’s is the place.

Astoria Federal Savings branch manager Irina Puchkova, at 489 Neptune Avenue, for securing the necessary funding to initiate this program. If you want a friendly bank that serves your needs, see Irina.
